The Working Group on Missing Persons, chaired by International Committee of the Red Cross head of operations for southeastern Europe Francois Stam, composed of representatives from Belgrade and Pristina, discussed the problems of establishing the truth about missing persons in Kosovo-Metohija in the period from 1998 to 2000.

There are 2,919 persons sought by ethnic Albanians and Serbs on the ICRC list of missing persons adopted at a meeting held in Belgrade last March.
Representatives of the International Commission on Missing Persons, NATO, KFOR, UNMIK, OSCE, offices of western countries in Pristina, representatives of families of missing persons, the Serbia-Montenegrin Red Cross and the Kosovo-Metohija Red Cross attended the meeting as observers.
The Belgrade delegation was led by President of the Serbia-Montenegrin Working Group on Missing Persons Veljko Odalovic while the Pristina delegation was led by Ragip Zekoli.
