Djuric said at the press conference, held after the arrest of Serbs near Gnjilane, that this is the message of President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, who was also conveyed to the representatives of the European Union.
He confirmed that the arrest of chief of the Kosovo-Pomoravlje district Radovan Stojkovic, Director of the National Employment Service Jovan Jovanovic, a member of the Serbian Army living in Kosovo, working in Vranje, Nenad Stojanovic and brothers Aleksandar and Predrag Djordjevic, one of whom is an active and another retired police officer.
Djuric said that these people are guilty for not supporting formation of the Kosovo Army.
The attack, he explained, was carried out in a brutal manner, according to the experimental scenario, and it happened completely opposite to everything agreed at the last meeting of President Vucic and EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.
He reminded that at this meeting it was agreed that such things would no longer happen, while the Albanians assumed an obligation to respect our people respectfully, and this was guaranteed by the presence of Mogherini.
The Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija added that the agreement has been breached in this way, stressing the message from Belgrade that they must immediately be released.
Also, Djuric emphasised that this act of the Kosovo police is considered taking hostages.
