Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric today talked with the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Serbia Johannes Eigner on the political situation in Kosovo-Metohija and the perspectives for the continuation of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

The Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija expressed his expectation that the new government of the provisional institutions of self-government in Pristina will be ready to respect the legitimate rights and interests of Serbs and other non-Albanians in the southern Serbian province.
Djuric thanked Eiger for the active role that his country has in the process of creating stability and prosperity in the region of the Western Balkans, according to a statement by the Office for Kosovo-Metohija.
