KFOR key for security in Kosovo

The Ministry of Defence announced that Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces general Ljubisa Dikovic spoke at the base "Jug" with KFOR Commander Major General Giovanni Fungo on the current political and security situation in Kosovo-Metohija and in the Ground Safety Zone, as well as the current cooperation between the Serbian Army and KFOR.

General Dikovic estimated that the level of cooperation with KFOR is characterised by a high degree of mutual trust and professionalism.
He repeated that the Serbian Army sees KFOR as a key force for the preservation of security in Kosovo-Metohija, in accordance with Resolution 1244 of the United Nations and the Military-Technical Agreement.
