Djuric told Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) that with this agreement the entire property of Telekom Srbija has been preserved, adding that this agreement will have a positive impact on the overall relations not only with Pristina, but also with the EU.
All property is transferred to the subsidiary company MTS doo in Kosovo-Metohija, and officially is the property of MTS Telekom Srbija, he said and pointed out that with this, the assets of our company are permanently protected, including the base stations.
According to him, the signal of Telekom Srbija will be available as before, but in two years a tender will be called for all mobile operators in the entire territory of the province, at which our Telekom will also participate.
Fixed telephony is valid for the territory of Kosovo-Metohija as a whole, and the transition period will last until the announcement of the tender, the Director of the Office explained and added that under this agreement Serbia will be assigned another dialling code for the geographic area, in accordance with Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council.
What this agreement changes is that Pristina loses the right to exercise any legal or other violence against the property of Telekom Srbija and that this company has now acquired the right in the institutions of Pristina to officially and legally operate in the entire territory.
