The Serbian Privatisation Agency said today that the tender commission has approved the results of the tender and accepted the list of bids for 70 percent of socially-owned capital of Belgrade’s road construction company (PZP), declaring a consortium of Emisio Broker, Delta M, and the Nis road company as the best bidder and Austrian firm Alpine Mayreder Gmbh as the runner-up.
According to the statement, a consortium of Belgrade-based Merkat, Zitkovac-based Miljkovic, and Becej-based Sojaprotein has also submitted a bid but it was declared invalid at the commission’s first session.
The statement went on to say that the highest ranked bid includes a purchase price of €18.8 million, investment programme of €13.1 million, and acceptance of all the obligations from PZP’s social welfare programme.
Now that the rankings have been announced, the Privatisation Agency and the consortium will enter the negotiation period to define the specifics of a final purchase agreement, reads the statement.
If talks are successful, the Agency and the buyer will sign a contract within 30 days from the start of negotiations.
