Brewery Jagodinska Pivara attracts one bidder

The Serbian Privatisation Agency said today that the commission in charge of selling brewery Jagodinska Pivara has received one bid for 51.18 percent of the Jagodina-based producer of beer, malt, and non-alcoholic drinks.
According to the statement, the first session of the tender commission started on April 18, 2005.
The opening of the sole bid took place on Tuesday, April 26, 2005, and the commission announced that a consortium of Infond Holding from Maribor, Slovenia, and Novi Sad-based Pan Beer was the only bidder to submit an offer within the set deadline.
The Privatisation Agency’s financial and legal advisers will consider the bid within 30 days and present results at the commission’s second meeting, reads the statement.
