Djuric told reporters in Belgrade that any attempt at seizing the Trepca Mines illegally would be a violation of law and added that all property issues should be solved in a civilised way, and not by threats.
He recalled that the Kosovo government set up a commission yesterday that will make a draft law on the Trepca Mines.
Djuric said that the unjust treatment of Serbian representatives in Kosovo-Metohija can be best seen by the fact that they were offered two out of 13 seats in the commission for the elaboration of a draft law on the Trepca Mines so that they could not veto decisions of the commission, although it is completely clear that Serbia and Serbian institutions have the absolute majority ownership of the Trepca Mines.
He underlined that those who are trying to solve the destiny of the Trepca Mines one-sidedly know very well that Serbia and creditors of this industrial complex have all the papers that prove that the Trepca Mines are the property of Serbia, i.e. of a company owned by the Republic of Serbia.
