State to fight corruption, crime severely

First Deputy Prime Minister responsible for defence, security and the fight against corruption and crime, and Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vucic said last night that the results of the new government in the fight against corruption will be visible very soon.

Appearing on Radio-Television Serbia (RTS) last night Vucic said that the state will severely fight against corruption and crime, and announced that all controversial privatisations alerted by the European Commission will be re-examined.

The Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that he expects great results in the arms industry and new employment in this sector.

He announced the opening of a new factory for complex combat systems in central Serbia in October.

Also, Vucic announced for 2 September an air show with the aircraft of the United States, France and Russia.
