Serbia, Tunisia to improve economic, trade relations

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic spoke today with Ambassador of Tunisia to Serbia Mohamed Bougamra about the improvement of economic and trade relations between the two countries.
Ljajic and Bougamra agreed that in the coming months it is necessary to sign an intergovernmental agreement on encouragement and protection of investments, in order to improve economic cooperation between Serbia and Tunisia.
In addition to the existing bilateral agreements and the achieved level of good political relations, such a document would significantly contribute to intensifying cooperation in the fields of construction, agriculture, pharmaceuticals and tourism, where there is ample room for further progress.
Bougamra informed Ljajic that Tunisia will participate in the upcoming International Tourism Fair in Belgrade, from 18 to 21 February, and that the Minister of Tourism of Tunisia will visit Serbia on that occasion, according to a statement from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications.
