Jinan Economic Forum confirms companies' interest in investing in Serbia

Belgrade/Jinan, 25 April 2026

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarović expressed today at the Economic Forum in Jinan, Shandong Province, her expectation that this gathering will bring a number of concrete results to our country as soon as this year.

The Economic Forum was organised with the support of the Party Secretary of the Shandong Province, in the presence of Deputy Governor Sun Ximin.

Mesarović pointed out that the forum was attended by companies that already operate in our country, then those that are just in the process of implementing their investment projects, as well as companies that want to invest in Serbia.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed her satisfaction with the fact that all of them were familiar with the economic opportunities and long-term political and economic stability in Serbia.

According to her, these are the main reasons why companies have decided to invest in our country, or why they are planning potential investments.

The fight for every investment, for faster progress and modernisation of Serbia continues, because this is the task set by President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić, Mesarović concluded.
