Serbia against Kosovo's membership in international organisations

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic stated today that Serbia will be totally against Kosovo's admission into international organisations that have status character.

Dacic said in a broadcast on Television Pink that Serbia will do everything to prevent the entry of the so-called Kosovo into the UN.
He underlined that Serbia has never signed a document according to which Serbia should agree with the entry of Kosovo into certain international organisations.
The Foreign Minister said that the Belgrade-Pristina negotiations are status neutral, noting that the EU cannot decide otherwise because there are countries that have not recognised the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo.
