Relations between Serbia, Turkey important for regional stability

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu talked today in Belgrade on all bilateral issues of mutual interest.

Dacic and Cavusoglu reached an agreement that it is necessary to preserve continuity of regular high-level dialogue, as well as the intensification of all aspects of bilateral relations between Serbia and Turkey.
It was pointed out to the importance of the Serbian-Turkish relations for regional stability.
Cavusoglu praised Serbia's chairmanship to the OSCE, as well as the successful organisation of the Ministerial Council of the OSCE in 2015.
He also congratulated Serbia on the opening the first chapter in the negotiations with the European Union, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
