Serbian-Russian Intergovernmental Committee on 11-12 January in Belgrade

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin confirmed in today's meeting mutual readiness for the development of overall relations, especially economic cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting it was agreed that the session of the Serbian-Russian Intergovernmental Committee on Trade, Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation will be held on 11 and 12 January 2016 in Belgrade is a strong impulse to improving economic relations.
Both sides agreed that the preparations for the forthcoming session of the committee co-chaired by Dacic and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin will be implemented as planned, and that the practice of maintaining regular contact of representatives of the two sides will continue.
During the meeting, the officials summarised the results of the good cooperation between Serbia and the Russian Federation in 2015, and exchanged New Year's greetings, according to a statement the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
