BIP tender declared unsuccessful

The Serbian Privatisation Agency has said that the commission in charge of monitoring the public tender for the sale of 51.31 percent of Belgrade-based brewery BIP has decided not to start negotiations with the sole bidder and to declare the tender unsuccessful.
According to a statement, the sole bid, submitted by a consortium of Slovenian Potez Nalozba, Novi Sad-based Pan Beer, and Vucak-based Coka, included a low price for the capital and an inadequate investment programme.
