Speaking at a press conference in Kombank Arena in Belgrade, Dacic said that, in addition to more than 40 ministers of foreign affairs of the Ministerial Council of the OSCE, the event will be attended by US Secretary of State John Kerry, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov and EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.
He noted that many bilateral meetings among representatives of delegations will be held during the Ministerial Council and that the foreign ministers of Turkey and Russia will meet, in a situation when there is no official communication between them.
The First Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that the level of safety will be at the highest level, bearing in mind the current situation, and that the meeting will deal with the fight against terrorism and migrant crisis.
Foreign statesmen will have meetings with Serbia's top officials, President Tomislav Nikolic and Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.
This is a good opportunity for Serbia to present itself in a good light, Dacic underlined.
He noted that this event has great importance for our country and represents the final event of Serbia's OSCE Chairmanship.
Serbia has shown it is able to lead the OSCE in a very difficult year, when this organisation has faced many challenges, and that it can help to solve conflicts in an unbiased way, Dacic concluded.
