Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric said today that Pristina's decision to send the agreement on the Community of Serbian municipalities to the Constitutional Court prevents the formation of the Community and hampers the Brussels agreement.
Djuric said at an impromptu press conference in the Serbian government that it was not the only move by Pristina that represents a step away from the normalisation of relations.
According to Djuric, Pristina intends to disable entrance to Kosovo-Metohija to all vehicles with licence plates issued by the Serbian Interior Ministry as of 1 November and to introduce “exit-entry documents” instead of identity cards.
This must not go without reaction of the EU, which is the guarantor of the Brussels agreement, he said.
Djuric said that Pristina two days ago informed the Serbian representatives on the prohibition of the use of Serbian registration plates in Kosovo.
Serbia cannot and will not remain silent about this obstruction of the Brussels agreement, he said and added that at tomorrow's session the government will discuss this move of Pristina upon the return of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic from Moscow.
