First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with Ernst Reichel, Minister Plenipotentiary in charge of Southeast Europe, Turkey and the EFTA countries at the German Foreign Ministry, to discuss current bilateral issues, Serbia's European integration and international activities.

Both sides expressed willingness to strengthen mutual communication and exchange views in order to avoid misunderstandings that can lead to misinformation of the public.
Reichel said that Germany supports Serbia's European integration and is of position that four chapters in the negotiations on Serbia's membership in the EU should be opened soon.
Dacic reiterated Serbia's commitment to improving and developing overall relations with Germany, one of Serbia’s most important partners on the road to full membership in the EU, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
