Argentina will not recognise Kosovo’s independence

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic spoke yesterday on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Argentina Hector Timerman.

Timerman expressed gratitude to Serbia for its support to the UN General Assembly Resolution on the basic principles of the process of restructuring sovereign debt, adopted on 10 September.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Argentina inquired about the situation in Kosovo-Metohija and the course of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, and reiterated his country's principled position not to recognise the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo.
Dacic invited Timerman to visit Serbia, reads a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
