The first steps in this direction could be the establishment of air lines Belgrade-Baku, as well as the continuation of visa liberalisation.
The officials agreed that it would significantly contribute to establishing closer and more regular contacts between business people and companies from Serbia and Azerbaijan.
They also discussed the projects in the fields of energy, infrastructure, agriculture and telecommunications, where there is room for further improvement of cooperation and new Azerbaijani investments.
Aliyev pointed out that some Azerbaijani companies are interested in the privatisation of Serbian companies from the food industry, noting that major infrastructure projects in Serbia can be funded from a very favourable loan of the Oil Fund of Azerbaijan.
