First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said on the occasion of revocation of the decision of the Croatian government to block the border with Serbia that it represents a major success of the policy of the government of Serbia led by Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.
"The abolition of the unilateral and illegal decision of the Croatian government to block the border with Serbia represents a great success of the policy of the government of Serbia led by Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and a major defeat of the irresponsible policy of the Croatian government and its Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic.
Citizens and businessmen in the region can only be happy about such an outcome because the principle of free movement of people, goods and capital is crucial for economic development and stability.
The citizens of Serbia can be pleased with the fact that Serbia has a prime minister and government who are capable and courageous to make the best possible decisions for Serbia, which have the support of the EU and our other partners.
This was seen clearly for the first time in many years and this is the best proof that Serbia is on the right track," reads the statement by Dacic.
