Dacic pointed out on that occasion that Serbia's OSCE chairmanship this year takes place in conditions of the greatest crisis since the end of World War II - the crisis in Ukraine, and in the year when the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Helsinki Final Act is being marked.
He recalled that the OSCE has had an important role in the Western Balkans in supporting comprehensive reforms and in the process of reconciliation and regional cooperation.
That is why, he said, one of the most important priorities of the Serbian Chairmanship of the OSCE is strengthening cooperation in the region and improving the process of reconciliation.
Today we are witnessing the process of mass migration of people and this problem, in addition to transnational and global threats such as terrorism, organised crime and climate change, is becoming a global issue, Dacic underlined.
According to him, solving these complex problems, which are often interrelated, requires the cooperation of our Asian and Mediterranean partners, which is why the OSCE comprehensive concept of security is more important than ever.
The seminar was organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Serbia, together with the NGO East-West Bridge from Belgrade.
