Last night, after a meeting of the OSCE Troika in Magdeburg attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland Didier Burkhalter and German Minister of Foreign Affairs Frank Steinmeier, Dacic underlined that the situation in and around Ukraine was the main topic of the talks.
It is imperative that there should not come to a halt in the dialogue and only a steady progress towards a consensus can lead to the goal - and that is a mutually acceptable solution to the contentious issues.
According to Dacic, the key prerequisite for such a progress and compliance with the obligations undertaken by the package of measures for the implementation of the Minsk agreement is the political will of all parties.
The meeting also dealt with the current migrants’ crisis.
The OSCE Chairperson-in-Office explained that it was agreed to work together to find answers, but also to help everyone, especially the transit countries because they suffer the most.
He announced that the OSCE Ministerial Council will be held on 3-4 December in Belgrade.
Belgrade will host this great event, and after that Germany will take over presidency from our country on 1 January 2016, Dacic recalled.
