First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic stated that Serbia will send a note to Hungary inviting the authorities of that country to prevent today’s event from repeating, when tear gas cartridges were fired at Serbia’s territory.
Dacic said in a written statement to the media that the interior ministers of the two countries are having intensive communication in order to resolve the current situation at Horgos.
He also recalled that Hungary had sent a note asking Serbia to prevent, as stated, armed migrants from crossing the state border at Horgos.
