Mitigating negative effects of migrant crisis

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and the newly appointed Director of the Migration, Asylum, Refugees Regional Initiative (MARRI) Ambassador Tamara Mugosa discussed today issues regarding the current migration crisis.

Mugosa, who took office on the 1 August as a candidate of Montenegro, presented at today's meeting the Action Plan and the priorities of MARRI for next year.
Bearing in mind the growing problem and the necessity of resolving the issue of migrants, which in the region and among the participating MARRI countries particularly affects Serbia as well as Macedonia, the two officials discussed the mechanisms available to MARRI with which it can mitigate the negative effects of the crisis.
