First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn estimated today that bilateral relations of the two countries are very good, and that there is space for their further improvement.

Dacic and Asselborn agreed that the Agreement on the avoidance of double taxation should be signed during their next meeting, which should contribute to the intensification of economic cooperation and increase of trade.
They exchanged opinions on the migrant crisis in Europe and on the plans for its solution.
Asselborn announced that two conferences will be held, one dealing with the problem of migrants from Africa, and the other with migrants from the Middle East and Asia that are coming via the Western Balkans.
Dacic expressed desire for Serbia to be included in the solution that is made at the level of the EU.
He reiterated that Serbia is ready to open chapters 32 and 35 in the negotiations with the EU, and briefed Asselborn on the latest details in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and on Serbia’s activities as the OSCE chair.
