Dacic pointed to the importance of relations with China - from support in the most important issues to concrete forms of cooperation, highlighting the role of China as a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
He briefed the Chinese Ambassador on the vulnerability of the Serbian cultural heritage in Kosovo-Metohija and the unacceptability of Kosovo's application for membership in UNESCO.
Manchang said that the relations between the two countries are constantly improving, as evidenced by the agreements on new investment projects during the visit of the Serbian President to China.
During the meeting, he presented China’s views regarding the reform of the UN and within that of the UN Security Council.
The two officials expressed interest in developing cooperation in all areas in which the two countries recognise the potential for common results.
They also estimated that the role of the UN in maintaining world peace, ahead of celebration of the 70 anniversary of this organisation, still remains indispensable.
