In a press conference after a meeting with Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in Ukraine and in the Trilateral Contact Group Ambassador Martin Sajdik, and Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Ambassador Ertugrul Apakani, he stressed that it is of utmost importance for all sides to respect the agreement.
Dacic condemned in the strongest terms the violations of ceasefire and the recent incidents in Kiev, where several Ukrainian soldiers lost their lives.
Dacic announced that a meeting of the OSCE Troika will be held on 19 September in Germany, to resume the talks with the top OSCE officials engaged in the attempts to find a solution to the Ukrainian crisis.
He reiterated that Serbia will not build a "counter wall" to stop the influx of refugees, and that the European Union is expected to define its policy for solving this problem.
According to Dacic, the amount of €1.7 million, allocated by the Union for Serbia and Macedonia to address the issue of refugees is not enough.
Dacic recalled that a meeting of EU foreign ministers will be held on 3-4 September, which will be attended by foreign ministers of candidate countries, dedicated to the problem of migrants, and that a conference on the issue under the auspices of the EU will take place in October.
