Cooperation of Serbia, Greece to be improved at all levels

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic today paid a visit to Greece to attend in Katerini a ceremonial delivery of the Charter of the honorary citizen to President of the Jagodina City Assembly Dragan Markovic.

Dacic said on this occasion that every visit is a great opportunity for friendly talks on all issues of common interest and clarification of potential misunderstandings.
He recalled that Greece and Serbia are two friendly countries and urged for even closer cooperation at all levels.
The First Deputy Prime Minister congratulated Markovic, expressing hope that this move will contribute to even stronger relations between Greece and Serbia.
Upon handing over the Charter to Markovic, Mayor of Katerini Savvas Chionidis expressed his desire to strengthen cooperation between Greece and Serbia, Jagodina and Katerini, which is the capital city of the Pieria regional unit on the coast of the Aegean Sea.
The ceremony was attended by Minister of Energy and Mining Aleksandar Antic, Serbian Consul to Thessaloniki Sinisa Pavic, senior officials of Jagodina and Katerini and representatives of the Greek Orthodox Church.
