Udovicki outlined to the Ambassador the competencies of her ministry, which have been reinforced in this government.
She said that it is a challenge to raise the capacity and improve the organisation of work at a time of fiscal consolidation, but pointed out that it is an obligation on which the whole cabinet is working.
Udovicki and Takahara agreed that the reforms should contribute to better business activities of companies in Serbia.
The Ambassador noted that only two Japanese companies are doing business in Serbia, but that their experience with the work of local governments is satisfactory.
The two officials agreed that the reputation of companies is an important indicator of success and in the attraction of new investments, which contribute to the employment of local population.
In this context, Takahara pointed to the construction of a recycling centre in Novi Pazar, which aims to ensure inclusion and improvement of the position of the Roma community by employing 10 workers, reads the statement.
