The Civil Society Forum of the Western Balkans will be held tomorrow afternoon, hosted by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria Sebastian Kurz, and the participants will be prime ministers of Serbia and Albania Aleksandar Vucic and Edi Rama respectively.
In the evening a friendly soccer match between FC-Future EU and FC-EU will be held. The referees will be EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn and Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic.
On Thursday, 27 August, the summit will be opened by Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann, who will inform the public of the results of the meeting together with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Federica Mogherini and Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.
On the same day, separate meetings of foreign ministers and ministers of economy of the countries of the region and representatives of the European Union will be held.
The meeting in Vienna will be an opportunity for the presentation of infrastructure projects in the region, but, because of the current situation, one of the important topics will be the issue of migrants and asylum seekers, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
