In a statement to journalists in the building of the European External Action Service, where he took part in the talks within the framework of the technical dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Djuric explained that Pristina did not accept that the Community of Serbian Municipalities and the Electric Power Industry of Serbia establish a new company that will deal with distribution of electricity in the north of Kosovo-Metohija.
By opposing this, members of the Pristina delegation violated the provisions from the Brussels Treaty and the Action Plan for its implementation agreed earlier.
Djuric said that the Serbian side, despite the lack of progress, has no reason to be dissatisfied because the collaborators of EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Federica Mogherini noted that the blame for the failure of negotiations rests on Pristina.
The process of normalisation of relations was hampered the moment Pristina refused to discuss the Community of Serbian Municipalities, although this is the first element of the Brussels Treaty and the first point of the Action Plan, Djuric stressed and added that the EU knows that Serbia has done everything to reach the normalisation of relations.
