French humanitarian Arnaud Gouillon gets Serbian citizenship

Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic presented today French humanitarian Arnaud Gouillon with a decree on establishing the citizenship of the Republic of Serbia and identity documents and thanked him for helping the endangered Serbian population in Kosovo-Metohija.

Stefanovic said that Arnaud Gouillon has supported Serbian enclaves in Kosovo-Metohija and has taken care of the vulnerable.

With his team from the NGO "Solidarity for Kosovo", he animates the French companies and various individuals to donate for endangered Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija, said Stefanovic.

The Minister pointed out that he proved the love to our country countless times, and added that he was a man of great heart, who has linked his fate with the fate of the Serbian people and settled in our country.

I want to thank him for all humanity and care for our citizens, and it is my great pleasure to present him an identity card, a passport and a decision on admission to citizenship, said Stefanovic.

Thanking the government of Serbia and Minister Stefanovic, which recognised his work and appreciates the desire to become part of the Serbian people, Gouillon pointed out that the decision on admission to citizenship of the Republic of Serbia is a recognition of the highest state authorities for a decade-long humanitarian work.
