After the meeting which Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic held with representatives of Serbs from Kosovo-Metohija, Djuric specified that the next meeting will be held after the negotiations in Brussels that are scheduled for 9 February.
He underlined that the move of Prime Minister of Kosovo Isa Mustafa, who dismissed Minister for Communities and Return Aleksandar Jablanovic, has worsened the situation ahead of the upcoming negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina.
Djuric reiterated that the Serbian government does not accept that Jablanovic is guilty of what part of the Albanian public and street protesters accuse him of.
He said that all future steps will be made unanimously and in the interest of the Serbian people, and underlined that the Serbian community is not a subject of instability in Kosovo-Metohija.
Today’s meeting was attended by Aleksanadar Jablanovic, Branimir Stojanovic, Ljubomir Maric and Bratislav Nikolic.
The meeting was convened after Prime Minister of Kosovo Isa Mustafa dismissed Minister for Communities and Return Aleksandar Jablanovic, leader of the Citizens’ Initiative “Srpska” which has nine members in the Kosovo Parliament, two ministers and one deputy prime minister in the Kosovo government.
