Vucic also talked with members of the Serbian Army and the Emergency Department of the Ministry of the Interior, and representatives of public utility companies in charge of waters and roads Srbijavode and Putevi Srbije, who are in Tekija and are helping citizens clear the accumulated layers of mud and silt caused by rain and landslides.
The Prime Minister said that 50 houses had been damaged in the recent floods in Kladovo and announced that each house will be provided with household equipment too.
On 29 September, the additional RSD 10 million will be paid, the Prime Minister said and added that the problem of water and sanitation in Tekija will be solved within three days.
Vucic noted that Minister without portfolio responsible for emergency situations Velimir Ilic will stay in Kladovo until 30 September.
The Prime Minister underlined that so far €30 million have been paid for the clean-up of consequences of the May floods in Serbia and added that the state has so far issued 13,600 decisions on granting aid to citizens affected by the floods.
We will fix and repair all houses, the state and the army will always stand by its people, Vucic stated and added that the state will do everything it can so that life in this part of eastern Serbia goes back to normal.
