Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, today opened the Office of the Regional Representative of the Prime Minister’s Office in Aranđelovac.
Macut recalled that, following the opening of offices in Vranje and Niš, this is the third Prime Minister’s office outside Belgrade and another step towards a policy aimed at bringing institutions closer to citizens and making them accessible to everyone.
Following talks with citizens, he pointed out that these offices serve as an important link between citizens, local self-government units and national institutions, and that their purpose is to contribute to the faster and more efficient resolution of the issues citizens face on a daily basis.
The Prime Minister said that he wants every citizen to know that their voice will be heard and that the problems they encounter will be referred to the relevant institutions more quickly and efficiently.
During his visit to Aranđelovac, a municipality experiencing, as he noted, strong economic growth, the Prime Minister visited beverage producer Knjaz Miloš a.d. and polymer products manufacturer Peštan, emphasising that these companies are good indicators of economic development.
He stated that the Government of Serbia will continue to support domestic companies and create conditions for new investments, economic growth and the creation of jobs throughout the country.
