The two officials welcomed the decision of the European Council to extend the mandate of the EULEX Mission by June 2016, since its legal basis and mandate rest on the UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
Dacic conveyed expectations of Serbia that over next two years the EULEX will have the same scope of jurisdiction as up to date because the EULEX Mission, together with other international actors in Kosovo, such as UNMIK and Kfor, is a guarantee of survival of the Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija, reads a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
