Marking tenth anniversary of March 2014 pogrom in Kosovo

The Office for Kosovo-Metohija on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the March 2004 pogrom in Kosovo-Metohija will organise a series of activities to remind the domestic and international public about the crime committed against the Serbian and non-Albanian people on 17-18 March 2004.
A statement by the Office for Kosovo-Metohija said that the events commemorating the pogrom will take place under the slogan "Pogrom – ten years later".
The Office for Kosovo and Metohija will today organise an academy called "Pogrom – ten years later" at the National Theatre in Belgrade.
Minister without Portfolio in charge of Kosovo-Metohija Aleksandar Vulin, Serbian Patriarch Irinej, Parliament Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic and representative of the Serbia-Israel Friendship Association from Tel Aviv will address the present.
An exhibition of works of children from Kosovo-Metohija titled "Stolen Childhood" will be opened at the Faculty of Law.
In all elementary and secondary schools, a lesson on the March pogrom will be organised.
The memory of the last pogrom in Europe will be marked by a series of events in Kosovo-Metohija as well, the statement added.
