Minister of Justice and Public Administration Nikola Selakovic called on all applicants who are eligible to register for judge of the European Court of Human Rights, which will represent Serbia at the court in Strasbourg.
Bearing in mind the fact that the mandate of judge Dragoljub Popovic, representing Serbia at the European Court of Human Rights, expires in early April this year, the Ministry set up a commission to choose a candidate for judge at the European Court of Human Rights.
The competition is published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia. The deadline for applications is 3 March this year.
Under the decision of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the elected judge has a mandate of nine years, according to a statement by the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration.
