Minister of Justice in a caretaker capacity Nenad Vujić met today with the newly appointed UNICEF Representative in Serbia, Christina de Bruin, to discuss joint projects within the IPA project in the field of justice, including the need to adopt a new law on juveniles as soon as possible.

The two officials also discussed the possibility of establishing a juvenile justice unit within the Ministry of Justice, whose main role would be to improve the position of children in contact with the law.
The interlocutors also examined the possibility of re-establishing a council for juveniles, as an important body for monitoring and improving the juvenile justice system.
