RSD 46 maximum retail price of T-500 bread as of 1 February

The government adopted at today's meeting a decree setting the maximum retail price of T-500 bread at RSD 46.
This decree shall enter into force on 1 February and shall be in force until 31 July this year. The decree was passed in order to prevent market disruptions and ensure normal supply of all consumers, especially of lower social categories.
Bread manufacturers are required to produce and sell at least 40% of this type of bread in their daily production. Also, retailers must have in their offer at least 40% of this type of bread.
To ensure the normal functioning of the Ministry of Economy, Prime Minister Ivica Dacic has sent a proposal for dismissal of Minister of Economy Sasa Radulovic to parliament.
Dacic authorised Minister of Regional Development and Local Self-Government Igor Mirovic to head the Ministry of Economy.
