Minister of Defence Nebojsa Rodic will be on a several-day working visit to the United States, during which he will have a series of bilateral meetings with officials from the Pentagon, State Department, National Guard Bureau, Defence Intelligence Agency, National University of Defence and Congress.
The Ministry of Defence said that in addition to bilateral meetings, Rodic will sign two agreements.
Rodic will meet at the Pentagon with US Secretary of Defence Charles Hagel to sign the Agreement between the governments of Serbia and the United States on security measures for the protection of classified military information.
At the State Department, Rodic will sign the Agreement on enhancing cooperation and status of forces within the Partnership for Peace programme.
Rodic will also meet with Head of the National Guard Bureau of the United States General Frank Grass, Director of the Defence Intelligence Agency Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn and Chairman of the National Defence University of the United States Major General Gregg Martin.
Rodic will also meet with members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces who are currently studying at the US National University of Defense.
Rodic will also attend the ceremony marking the St. Sava Day in Washington, the statement added.
