The Serbian government concluded at its session today that in order to provide potable water in Uzice, it is necessary to build as soon as possible water mains that will link the city’s water supply network with the spring in the Cajetina municipality.
The government instructed the relevant ministries to propose the way and degree of the republic government’s involvement in construction of the necessary water mains, and it set up a team led by Minister of Regional Development and Local Self-Government Igor Mirovic, who will coordinate the activities on providing potable water in Uzice.
A resolution on determining public interest in the expropriation of immovable property for the sake of building and connecting water mains in the territory of the city of Uzice and the municipality of Cajetina was also adopted.
