Proposal of Serbian Energy Development Strategy to 2025 adopted

The Serbian government adopted at its session today the Proposal of the Serbian Energy Development Strategy to 2025, with projections to 2030.
The new strategy envisages increasing electricity production from renewable sources, reduction of emission of gases and increase of energy efficiency.
The strategy defines long-term goals for the development of the country’s productive capacity in the function of the security of supply and environmental protection, and the development of the transmission, transport and distribution system and of the electricity and natural gas market.
This document, which establishes the energy policy of Serbia, will be examined by Serbian Parliament.
