Good bilateral relations between Serbia, Hungary

Director of the Office of Human and Minority Rights Suzana Paunovic talked today in Belgrade with Hungarian Ambassador Oszkar Nikowitz.

They pointed out that there are no major outstanding issues in the relations between the two countries and that there is a need to strengthen and improve good bilateral relations.
Paunovic and Nikowitz stated that the Intergovernmental Mixed Commission of Serbia and Hungaria on national minorities should resume its work soon.
Nikowitz was interested in amendments to the Law on National Minority Councils and Paunovic said that these changes are aimed at making the electoral process more effective, according to a press release of the Office of Human and Minority Rights.
