The National council for the fight against violence and indecent behaviour at sporting events analysed today the security situation in sports, with a special reference to the riots that arouse at a recent football match between Red Star and Partisan.
The council requested from the relevant state authorities to indentify those who initiated and participated in the riots and bring them to justice as soon as possible.
The council examined the reports of connections between organised crime and the hooligan groups, and insists that the hooligans who have committed multiple offences in sports should be prohibited from attending sporting events over the next five years.
The council has established an inter-ministerial team that will make under emergency procedure the analysis, harmonisation, improvement and revision of legislation for the prevention of violence at sporting events.
