Measures taken for safe return of Serbian delegation from Zagreb

The Serbian Ministry of Justice has stated that its representatives contacted the Serbian delegation in Zagreb immediately after the incident in which their bus was stoned and added that all necessary measures have been taken for the delegation’s safe return to Serbia.
According to the information available to the ministry, one person was injured in the incident, namely a Supreme Court justice, while other members of the delegation are unhurt and are in constant contact with the Serbia-Montenegrin Ambassador in Zagreb.
The delegation, which was to take part in the work of the Round Table on cooperation under the EU’s regional programme for strengthening the independence of judiciary, includes Serbian Assistant Minister of Justice Slavka Srdic-Jankovic and representatives of the Supreme Court, the Higher Commercial Court, and the Belgrade Commercial Court.
