Intensification of social dialogue to lead to consensus for reforms

The Social and Economic Council, chaired by Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, considered a package of measures of the Serbian government to consolidate the public finances and boost the economic growth.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Labour and Social Policy Jovan Krkobabic, Finance Minister Lazar Krstic and Economy Minister Sasa Radulovic presented the members of the Economic and Social Council with the planned the effects of measures and dynamics of the new legislation that will contribute to the implementation of economic measures.
It was agreed that the legal provisions are discussed in the next session of the Social and Economic Council, before they are adopted by the Serbian government.
The Prime Minister stressed the need to intensify social dialogue in order to provide the necessary consensus for reforms in Serbia.
