Apart from the Serbian delegation that is taking part in the screening in Brussels, a team of experts in the field of European integration from the Ministry of the Interior has also been formed at the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade who will follow the broadcast via video link.
The broadcast has been enabled at the Serbian Parliament too and thus the live broadcast from Brussels is being followed by around 100 people from several ministries, and departments of the Ministry of the Interior, as well as representatives of police trade unions and the civil society.
The topics presented on the first day were the strategic overview of Chapter 24 – justice, freedom and security, as well as legal migrations, prevention and suppression of illegal migrations, readmission and illegal migrants, sexual exploitation of children and hi-tech crime.
Serbian experts posed questions regarding the implementation of EU standards, with the aim of making the Republic of Serbia a recognised and reliable partner of the Union, reads the statement of the Ministry of the Interior.
