Minister of Justice and Public Administration Nikola Selakovic met today with the Head of the World Bank Office in Serbia and also with Head of support for judicial reform project in Serbia Klaus Decker to discuss the improving of cooperation and future support of the World Bank in the area of judicial reform.
Selakovic pointed out to good cooperation with the World Bank in reforms, especially during the development of the National Judicial Reform Strategy for the period from 2013 to 2018 , as well as the Action Plan for the implementation of the strategy.
He pointed out that one of the priorities of the Ministry in the future will be the reform of public administration, and training of employees in the public administration.
The Minister also pointed out that citizens now have a clearer picture of the responsibilities and work of the Ministry, and that the Ministry should be as open and accessible and transparent in its work.
Selaković said that teams of highly educated young people aged on average 30 years old worked on two strategies – on judicial reform and on the fight against corruption.
